I loveeeeeeeee this series so much! I stumbled upon it quite by chance and this is by far my favourite installment! It carries more or less straight on from when the second book ended, and the pace and transition between books is smooth and flawless. The whole pace of the book is Formula 1 fast, with a very slick flow. There's plenty of action, and there's loads of romance and a steamy scene we've all been waiting for! And ya know Rowena The whole book is written very vividly, almost cinematically.
And the previously mentioned evil magical wizard. I love Rowena, she's so feisty, and as much of a role model as a fictional character can be! She's strong, she's independent, and she's brave. Caedmon is just Speaking of characters we have There's been more threads added to the plot Nuest has left us with the mother of all cliffhangers, and I cannot wait to see how the story ends. I love how the author has managed to balance the genres of fantasy and romance, they blend together perfectly.
The action scenes are well-written and had me on the edge of my seat with my heart racing. There were quite a few twists in this book and several important pieces began to fall into place. Yet again, the book ended with a cliff-hanger Holy Cow! What an ending! I can't believe that I will have to wait for the next installment AND that the next book is planned to be the last. Seriously, this book took the series to a whole new level - if you haven't started the series yet, then you really should.
